Brenda Couch and her husband Lloyd are natives of Greene County. She is a member of East Greene Freewill Baptist Church, where she sings in the choir and a member and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary and a Sunday School Teacher for the Nursery and Primary Class for years. Brenda graduated with a degree in Secretarial Science from Walter State Community College, with a minor in business administration. She is the mother of three grown children and the Grandmother of Joseph Carson a United States Marine of whom she is very proud. Brenda is also a foster parent to her niece Whitney. She has a poodle named Coco and a cat named Mrs. Garfield. Brenda is very active in the community. She is a member of The Ladies of the Moose, A Past President of local and district chapters of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (a philanthropic organization that raises money for St. Jude Children's Hospital), served as chair of every committee in the Alpha Lambda Chapter, a March of Dimes Committee Chair, Chair person for Relay for Life.  She also served the community as a cheer coach, a little league softball coach, umpire, adult softball coach. Brenda and her husband Lloyd also sponsored several softball teams. She is very active at Chuckey Doak Middle School, serving with the board to support all school activities. Brenda has been a softball catcher for 44 years, loves to go camping, fishing, and travel.
